I began as a patient of Dr. Russel in 2009. At first, and for the next full year, and more, I had a fabulous relationship with her. She was far from what I would describe as a fully engaged family practice professional. I'm truly sorry, but that's true. Her attention to me, as a brand new patient, was a little skimpy. In college, I learned that the first thing you do with any patient, regardless of the patient's so-called Chief Complaints, you do certain things to establish a baseline with a patient. I won't go into that now,. But, I was a patient with insurance, good insurance, so, there was utterly no reason for this young practitioner to not do these things. Actually, insurance or no insurance, she should have done these things, in the first interview, and systems review. But, there was no systems review. The little Med Tech took my blood pressure, and temperature, and asked me about my meds, which I brought in a sack. So, as I said, I saw Russell pretty often. Then, very
I agree with Dr. Sawyer. I was a new patient. I have a high deductible and stated so, please be conservative. $174 later and 2.5 hours of MY time ( and I only saw the PA) here I am getting computer generated nags about making a 6 month folllow up appt for which I have no idea what we are following up. It wasn't that type of visit. I was early for my appt time and waited 35 minutes past my morning appt time in the lobby with other patients arriving after me and being served first. I don't know how long in the room but it was too long especially since we were already well past my reserved time. No explaination or apology for the wait. Just not a feel good experience. Looking for a Dr in Grove OK.

I was with this doctor for years. My husband and I are now in our sixties. My husband decided he wanted to try a male doctor as he wasn't as comfortable asking personal male issues that came up with a female doctor. He asked if I would consider changing with him as we normally have the same family doctor, so I went.

bitter, cold as ice, and worthless.
If this is her policy and not Integris policy, perhaps she should rethink this with future patients as it can feel like a personal attack. Perhaps it could be she feels her business is going so well patients aren't valued. Which ever, very unprofessional in my opinion.

All I can say is 'WOW! Really?' I always heard others say negative things and I stood up for her. Sadly, I suppose they may have been right after all.

I had only one appointment with this doctor who was a fine doctor, however I thought for myself I preferred to stay with female doctor.
I've used Dr. Russel for many years and have received great care. I frequently use her medical spa and refer others who have had a great experience. I appreciate that although we are in a small town in Oklahoma, she consistently upgrades her equipment with the latest technology. Her office manager Diana is very friendly, efficient and very helpful.
When I called to schedule another appointment with her she turned me way saying once you leave, it's her policy you can not come back.
unhappily, she somehow lost her appetite for primary patient
