I was not pleased with my experience with Elder & Co. My husband and I had listed a house with them back in early June, a few weeks after we had received an email from the realtor within the agency we listed with stating that she no longer worked at Elder & Co and that the agency had legal rights to list our property. A few weeks after that we had then received a phone call from the owner of Elder & Co, telling us they were going to re-list our property and that they didn't see any reason why they couldn't sell our house. So all was well, that was until we received a phone call from the original realtor, who was now with a different agency, telling us that Elder & Co had dropped our contract. Well they never bothered to call us themselves and tell us that they were not going to list our property. I ended up calling them and all they could say was I'm sorry that nobody called you, but we didn't feel like we could sell your house, maybe an agency in Miami would be better". So for the past 2 1/2 months we were under the impression that our house had been on the market when in reality it wasn't. It was frustrating for us to have to go back and re-list with another agency. And we felt that they didn't handle the situation in a very professional manner, we will not be doing. any business with them ever again.
