Really great place for families big and small. Easy access to the lake and everyone is close together. Quiet inside the housing even with hoards of small children outside. Picnic tables, pool, playground, etc are on property. Very nice place, we renew each year for our family trip before we pack up during the one we are currently on. Highly recommend.
We stayed here a year ago and were unhappy with the busy noise near our cabin. When they heard how we felt they offered us a free stay to make up for the disappointment. We've just had that weekend stay and are overwhelmed by the generosity of this family owned location. 5 stars Candlewyck!! You made our anniversary amazing!!
Upon arrival everyone was very friendly. The rooms were very nice too. They had free breakfast on the weekends. They also had boat rentals. While I was there I noticed several people in the woods attempting to rescue a kitten in a tree well over 20 feet up. One of the H20 workers was the one to rescue the kitten. To my surprise and humor he had a framed post on the front desk in the office commending his friendliness and the fact that he was an Iraq and Afghanistan veteran. The quote literally said "HAVE NO FEAR BLAKE CLARK IS HERE" That statement is most definitely true from what I saw. A veteran rescuing a kitten from a tree. I highly recommend Candlewyck and H20 for their beautiful views and kind hearts.
If you're looking for a super clean, very friendly and relaxing atmosphere, this is a great place! Very family friendly and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect.
We were here visiting my nephew who lives in Grove, OK. We are from California, so we did some research online and found that this place met all of our needs for our stay and we were not disappointed. It was very clean and the staff was beyond incredible! We were staying in one of their town homes for 3 nights, 4 days and everyday they made sure we were extremely comfortable. This location was fairly close to Groves downtown and close by a local grocery store. Our town home was a two bedroom, two bath with a full kitchen and laundry unit. They provided us with enough supplies including dishes and silverware, as well as a BBQ grill, that we used twice during our stay. They also have a basketball court and other activities for kids. It's very family friendly and welcoming. I can't say enough about this place. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit!
We had a great experience. Spent the weekend with my handicapped dad and they upgraded us to a house from a motel to make our stay more comfortable. Excellent customer service. Great breakfast with biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee and milk.
