I went into Smart Style at Grove, Oklahoma. Yesterday February 9th 2017. I was helped by Chelsea a.k.a "the manager". I told her I wanted a hair cut and she was absolutely rude and gave me dumb looks when I told her what I wanted. I still let her do my hair to give this girl a chance thinking maybe it was a bad day or something. So she washed my hair then began to ask me how I wanted it cut. I said I wanted layers and my split ends cut off. She snips of my split ends off and then she asks if she's done. And I was like I want my top layer a little more shorter then my bottom. She then tells me I would look stupid and have a bowl on top of my head type of hair cut. I bit my tongue even though I clearly said I wanted layers. My hair is dyed and I told her I wanted my bottom layer to look like there's less blonde and she then told me how stupid I was and that I needed to get it trimmed every two months in order for that to happen and it not look funny. Which I knew because I've been getting my hair down there for awhile now. Anyways she was finally done and she was just about to blow dry my hair and I just had enough of the rude comments, hateful attitude that I paid and walked out with wet hair. I've been there plenty of times and never been treated with such disrespect. And also while she was cutting my hair there was a new girl still learning the job and she was asking her questions and she was rude about giving her directions when she needed help with computer. And also when she cut my hair she dropped the comb and still began to use it. Kimberly Shelton has always done my hair at smart styles before she moved and her and her coworkers were never this rude, never used the same comb after its been on the floor, and they always had gorgeous cuts. I absolutely can't even tell the difference with my hair. Just a terrible time.

They never have enough staff to not have a three hour wait time!
The only reason I am deducting a star is they can't seem to keep a steady staff. By the time I get one stylist setup on my standard hair style, they're gone and someone else took their place. It's just a bit annoying. I recommend getting an appointment. Otherwise try coming in when you have nothing to do, just in case the wait is long. If someone is shopping with you at Walmart, that might give you enough time to get in. Just don't expect them to be ready when you are. That's a mistake that always causes unnecessary anger and you don't need that in your life.
